Image conversion concurrency. The image_utils module switched to concurrency-aware tpool wrapping, reshaping how image conversion work is dispatched to the native thread pool (995001). It's the largest functional change of the week at roughly 85 lines touched.

Driver fixes and reverts. The Pure Storage "Fix QoS for py-pure-client 1.86.0+" patch was reverted, pulling ~100 lines back out of the Everpure driver. On the generic path, a long-standing fix ensures the driver is initialized before an attach is attempted, closing a window where attach could proceed against an uninitialized backend. Driver unit tests also stopped mutating CONF.my_ip, removing a source of cross-test interference. StorPool dropped its runtime dependency on the storpool and storpool.spopenstack Python packages.

Tooling. Pylint was upgraded to 4.1.0 and its CI job made voting, tightening static analysis gates. A dead reservations list was pruned from the quota path, a Python-2-era comment was removed, and .gitreview was updated for the unmaintained/2025.1 branch.
