Stability and leaks. The headline change plugs a file descriptor leak in Swift client connections (1005971), reworking ~470 lines around how connections are opened and torn down. Alongside it, a short timeout was added for image URL validation, landed on master and backported across two stable branches so slow or hung image endpoints no longer stall validation. A pair of changes also stops _retrieve_attribute from raising when an object's attribute is None, landing on master and a stable branch.

Driver and API fixes. A Lenovo-specific UEFI boot loop in the prepare_instance flow was corrected, tightening behavior for that hardware path. On the API side, broken project scoping was repaired, and slash-notation support was extended to plugin-data paths, giving operators consistent addressing between the two data trees.

Maintenance. Translations were re-imported from Zanata, the SLURP job's source version was corrected, and Python 3.14 support was declared.
