Trait Based Networking. TBN saw substantial polish across master and backports: consolidated documentation, corrections to the docs, a fix so comparisons against unset variables never match, repair of the universal port and network constructors, a change to only execute the first matching TBN action on VIF attach, and a new error path for unhandled TBN actions. Related networking work only plugs ports with a tenant VIF in configure_tenant_networks and skips ports without switchport configuration.

MTU through the networking stack. A three-change series adds MTU support to ironic-networking, carries MTU through the networking service, and extends the generic switch driver to honor it (#1011407).

Security and credential scope. A maintenance-state update policy bypass was patched and backported to seven stable branches, as were validations for BMC subscription IDs in Redfish vendor passthrough. A new image_server_auth_hosts option restricts credential scope when fetching images, secret step arguments are now masked in conductor logs, and gzip decompressions are chunked and size-limited. An ambiguous-owner bug when listing allocations by node was also fixed and backported.

Driver and hardware work. The Dell iDRAC driver now checks Lifecycle Controller job outcomes when a firmware update task disappears mid-flight, and a Redfish BootProgress helper was added for gate use.

Elsewhere. The authtoken middleware cache directory was removed from config.
