EVPN scheduling. The headline addition is VRF hosting scheduling for the EVPN work, landing ~400 lines of new orchestration logic for distributing VRFs across hosts (1006348).

OVN backend. A fix for gateway scheduling on multi-segment networks landed on master and was backported in the same window. The metadata port now rejects delete_port calls, a new maintenance task cleans stale DNS entries (also backported), and the OVSDB poller was switched from select(2) to poll(2) across three branches to avoid fd-limit issues. Smaller refinements include using idl.has_lock instead of is_lock_contended for lock checks, ensuring the MaintenanceWorker lock is set before connect, and additional tag_request fixes. The logapi driver was also tightened to fetch only the stateful flag from security groups rather than the full object, with the change riding three branches.

Stability. ML2 port binding now stops immediately when a mechanism driver reports failure instead of continuing through the chain. The DHCP agent gained proper systemctl stop handling as part of the eventlet removal effort. QoS resource-request handling tolerates missing port bindings, a privsep entrypoint unwrapping bug in netlink tests was fixed, and an OVSDB error during PVLAN maintenance was corrected.

Housekeeping. The contributor-onboarding doc was merged into contributing.rst, sys_platform was dropped from requirements, and translations were refreshed.
