Threading model. Native threading is now the default for console proxies and for CLI entry points, continuing the migration away from eventlet in standalone utilities. A related test fix prevents hangs when a threadpool executor gets stuck during cleanup, and noisy "executor shutdown" messages in CI logs were trimmed back.

Observability. An OpenTelemetry tracing middleware landed for the Nova API, adding opt-in request tracing via the standard OTel instrumentation pipeline (998287).

Lint and tooling. Two sizable sweeps reshaped the lint stack: the G (flake8-logging-format) rules were enabled across the tree, and ruff-check was wired into the gate alongside a cleanup of residual flake8 violations. Together these account for roughly 450 lines of mechanical churn aimed at keeping log-formatting and style enforcement consistent going forward.

Docs. A libvirt comment about domain-name usage was corrected, and the live_migration_completion_timeout option description was clarified.
