openstack/openstack-ansible — Week of 2026-10-10

Release SHA tracking. The bulk of the week — roughly 900 lines of churn across three changes — was role SHA synchronization against stable branches, with bumps landing for 2025.1 and 2026.1 and the integrated repo switched to track 2026.2. This is the quarterly branch-plumbing work that keeps the deployment project aligned with the component roles.

HAProxy and inventory. A new HAProxy backend definition was added for the Galera read-only endpoint, and the Ceph group name used by HAProxy was corrected. On the inventory side, metal hosts that aren't mapped to a container host now fall back to themselves for physical_host, closing a gap that previously left unmapped bare-metal nodes without a sensible value (1006389).

Smaller fixes. Keepalived instance formatting was corrected, the community.mysql dependency was dropped while community.library_inventory_filtering was added to requirements, Manila's default flavor RAM size was adjusted (twice, on master and a backport), and neutron_api_workers was removed. Ceph gate jobs were temporarily marked non-voting.

Docs and translations. The crush_device_class option for Ceph OSDs is now documented, and translations were re-imported from Zanata.
