Snap refresh controls. The largest change this week reworks snap refresh handling across the charms: an optional channel parameter now lets operators pin refreshes, and hooks no longer trigger a snap swap on a track change. The change landed on the development branch and was backported to two stable series, totaling roughly 3,000 lines of coordinated movement.

Storage drivers and TLS. The Dell PowerFlex charm was backported to both 2024.1 and 2025.1 (~1,960 lines combined), and the storage layer gained validation and plumbing for TLS material passed between components (#1001791). Together these round out cinder-driver coverage on the maintained branches.

Designate and Neutron features. The designate-bind charm picked up support for the BIND 9.20 rock, delivered to the development branch and both stable backports. On the networking side, the Neutron charm now enables the QoS service plugin, with the same change landed twice across branches.

Certificate rotation fix. A notable stability fix lets certificate rotation proceed even when the cluster certificate has already expired — previously a terminal state. The repair was carried to three branches in parallel.

Elsewhere, zaza is now pulled from its default branch in the test tooling.
