openstack/sunbeam-charms — Week of 2026-10-17

Hibiscus 2026.2 refresh. The bulk of the week — roughly 22,000 lines of churn in a single change — lands the charm updates for the Hibiscus 2026.2 release, resyncing the charm set against the new OpenStack cycle.

Driver and backend features. The storage path now validates and passes TLS material through to backends, landed in parallel across two reviews. The openstack-hypervisor charm gains a block-device-allocate-retries config knob (shipped four times across branches/charm variants), and masakari-k8s exposes the process-all-instances option. On the networking side, neutron-k8s now renders a [placement] section to support network segment aggregates.

Fixes. The cinder-volume-infinidat charm makes CHAP opt-in and requires credentials when enabled, backported to a second branch alongside the master landing.

Tooling. CI's collect-run-data step was trimmed to speed up post-run log collection.
