Conductor resilience. The largest change of the week hardens the conductor against transient job board failures, so a momentary backend hiccup no longer takes the conductor process down with it (996372). Alongside this, the Redis-backed job board grew a workaround to disable redis-py 8.0's maintenance notification probes, which were interfering with normal operation.
Dependency cleanup. The persistence layer dropped its dependency on SQLAlchemy-Utils, switching to equivalents provided directly by SQLAlchemy and consuming SQLAlchemy's own extras rather than pinning transitive packages. Together these trim the install footprint around the SQL persistence backend.
Tooling and CI. The rest of the week was test-suite polish: capturing logs/stdout/stderr during tests, caching service availability checks, suppressing .pyc generation, consolidating the cover tox target around the shared test command, simplifying coverage options, setting TAKSFLOW_TEST_URL in tox.ini, and a routine pre-commit version bump.
